WORKS ON SHOW

Derek Gillingham’s paintings are influenced by the moment; the coffee, the rhythm of the music on the radio, the sound of cars, people and whatever was going on at the time. His paintings and the titles of his pieces are a log of those moments.

Andy Finch-Dent’s paintings are characterised by the strong contrasts between light and dark. These bright colours and the sharp elements symbolise external forces jostling for supremacy to obscure the simple patterns within.

Emma Gamble’s menacing scenarios, spark psychological unease, finding much of their influence in the high contrast lighting and charged scenes of the film Noir genre.
